Description

The specialist assists with all aspects of the City’s recreational programs and events, including field preparation. This position is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and supervising programs and events, and creating a productive environment which establishes positive working relationships with the school district and between staff members of the Parks and Recreation Departments. The specialist promotes a positive image while working closely with the school district, public, volunteers, local businesses and seasonal full and part-time staff.

Requirements

A GED or High School Diploma, valid driver's license and a pre-employment drug screening are required. This person must be able to use recreation related equipment efficiently.
